I have been waiting for this day for far too long.

Photography has always been apart of my life, from the day I was born there was a camera in my face and then I began to learn how to grab it and hit the big button and it flashed so I was fascinated. In high school I was in yearbook, the part I enjoyed most was actually being out on location and shooting and soaking up the emotions from the students no matter if it was an intense volleyball game or going class to class getting "candid" teacher/student interaction. I remember running into my high school yearbook teacher while I was in community college telling her how I was going to Baylor (plot twist, I did not end up there, but at the wonderful University of Central Oklahoma) and she told me whatever I do, do something other than photography...oops.

Graduating college was a whirlwind of emotions- excited, scared, confused...etc. I was not sure how my photography would do, what my life would look like moving back to Texas, and really how to be an adult. With photography I am able to explore and see new things and meet new people or even get to know some people better, it does not feel like a job, which is such a blessing.

My goal with this blog and website is to share the stories of the photographs I publish. I hope you explore and enjoy my website as much as I have enjoyed creating it!

Here are some sneak peeks into what I have been working on lately and what is to come...
