As I sit here and edit this morning with my cup of coffee, I cannot help but miss my dear friend Eduarda.
Working at Anthropologie, you quickly develop friendships that you just know will last forever, it's a little family. I tell my Anthro family everything and trust them with my life and I hope they feel the same about me.
Back to Eduarda though, during a closing shift one night back when I first started I chewed off Eduarda's poor ear. Asking her every question I could think of because she was the only person I hadn't quite figured out yet but I knew that she was cool just from the way she dressed and always had the best hours. I learned where she was from, where she had been, what she was going to school for, and we laughed and bonded that night. Ever since then, I have received hugs from Eduarda when I came into work and we hadn't seen each other for only a couple of days. Eduarda is definitely a unique personality that if you are lucky enough to get to know, you will want her in your life forever.
My sweet friend left me for California about two weeks ago and my heart is so sad without her but before she left, we got to shoot some photos (in a time span of two weekends because Houston likes to rain/flood lately and it interrupted and talk and enjoy Houston a little bit before she moved onto bigger things. I will be coming to visit you soon and I might not leave..
