Bittersweet Endings and Beginnings

Aah.. I totally suck at keeping up with this blogging thing.
Last Thursday was my last day working at Anthropologie. Let me tell you, bittersweet is a complete understatement. When I graduated college, I had this plan. It went totally out the window and I was helpless and confused and stuck in a rut. BUT, I had Anthropologie, it was my safe and happy place. These women that I have worked with for almost two years now have lifted me up, made me laugh, cry (or maybe I cry because I am way too sensitive for my own good), and have helped me grow in ways I couldn't have even imagined. I remember every single turning point I had in my relationships with these women and I will hold those little moments in my heart.
The managers saw something in me that I never saw in myself and when I was able to join their leadership team, it was a whole other story. With all my heart, I wish I could stay with this company and women forever but that’s just not practical in my little story right now.
This isn’t goodbye, but see you later (but like, how could I really not come in and shop all the time? I’m totally addicted).
What’s this new adventure I have? I am working as a photographer going into companies to take portraits! It’s a very neat, challenging, and overall an amazing company that I would love to tell you about over coffee if you’d like. I mean, I have a more normal schedule now, so let’s chat and shoot. Anyway..here are just a few photos from the spring fashion show in City Centre for my store!
